Still I do have some polymer clay makes that I had have been creating over the last week, following my Polymer Clay Millefiori Rose Canes.

Here are some pendants created from my red rose cane and I've incorporated a Zipper Cane as an edging. The largest will be a brooch, but I'm still undecided on what I will do with the other pieces.
Millefiori Rose Cane Beads from Polymer Clay |
This is a collection of beads I've created with the burgundy rose cane, I have plans for these to be teamed with some deep red Swarovski crystals I have in my bead box to create a bracelet.
I've also been working some colour mixing for the new Pantone Spring/Summer 2013 colour predictions, if you haven't seen the colours yet here they are.
Below are my colour samples, not a bad match I think although you may notice Greyed Jade is missing, I must of got distracted.

So what do you think of the colour predictions? Emerald has been named as Pantones colour of the year for 2013, so expect to see a lot of it. I don't have a lot of green in my wardrobe but I might just find a way to incorporate it into my accessories. Do you love Emerald?
Love the red rose cane pendants. Nice to see what you've made with the cane. After trying a little of this myself and getting nowhere, these are truly amazing!
ReplyDeleteYour lovely rosy things look perfect for valentines. I am an emerald fan, although I don't actually own much of it- but I love it with purples and turquoises for a peacock feel.
ReplyDeleteYes I will look forward to using Emerald with new colour combinations this year as it will be a step out of my comfort zone.
DeleteYour rose cane hearts are amazing - you are so very talented. I am also very impressed with your colour mixing. I like green and do have some in my wardrobe - shall have to look it out :) Thanks for the heads up.
ReplyDeletewow, your rose heart pendants and beads look amazing! so so pretty, i'm sure they'll be really popular :)
ReplyDeleteI have to say i find emerald a bit of a strong colour for me... i will be looking out for it now that i know about the prediction though! x
Love the rose canes you've been working on. I've dabbled in polymer clay a little myself so appreciate just how stunning these are.
ReplyDeleteI rather like the emerald, but then I like striking colours :)
The hearts are just gorgeous. I'm not a fan of emerald on its own (green is just not really me) but I do like it teamed with other jewel-bright colours, so maybe I'll be happy with it being this year's colour!
ReplyDeleteThose hearts are amaaaazing
ReplyDeleteOhhh the hearts look beautiful! I love Emerald too, a gorgeous colour :-)
