Pink floral charm bracelet with a touch of navy - Commissions at Lottie Of London

 

I was sent a request from a client recently who had fallen in love with my pink floral charm bracelet. 

 

 

She mentioned it was perfect for an upcoming wedding she was due to attend but needed some navy beads added to the bracelet to co-ordinate with her wedding outfit.

I crafted the navy beads using polymer clay and interspersed them throughout the charm bracelet.

Here’s the final piece with a touch of navy blue.

I'm Back! with some new Jewellery Makes

Well I'm back, though I haven't actually been away! I've been very preoccupied these last few weeks as we have been visiting open days for my daughters secondary school applications, I have to admit its been a nightmare but the application is now submitted so its over with till next march.

I'm glad to say that in between all this I have been able to get some crafting in during this time. My internet went down a few weeks ago which meant that computer jobs went on hold and I decided to pull my beads out and create some items with my older stock. Its been a very long time since I've hit the bead stash and I had great fun putting together some new pieces for my Etsy Store.

Polymer Clay Valentine Jewellery

Its been another busy weekend this time I've been struggling to work with a dodgy internet connection not great when you have lots of internet work and uploading to be done Arrghhh! but luckily I got to take time out last night and went to watch Strictly Come Dancing at the O2 and although it was cheesy I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Cupcake Charm Bracelet Commissions in Polymer Clay

I do love commissions, I recently got a commission for my Cupcakes and Tea Charm Bracelet previously made this summer.  My customer was searching for a cupcake bracelet as a gift and found a feature of my bracelet on the blog All Things Cupcake, the perfect place for cupcake lovers.

 As you can see the charm bracelet also features a little penguin handmade also from polymer clay, as requested by my customer it adds a beautiful personal touch to his gift.

I think maybe a charm bracelet with more of these little penguins will be quite cute with a black and white theme.  Also making the cupcakes for this bracelet reminded me that I made quite a few different styles over the summer.

Polymer Clay Charm Bracelets - Alice In Wonderland

Well as some of you may know I'm on a little mini break to focus on getting some work done, but I did promise to keep you updated with my work in progress.

But first I would like to say a big thank you to Naomi of MrsMcIndoe for featuring me on her Thursday Showcase last week, you can read my interview here Thursday Showcase.  I met Naomi through Craftblogs Sunday twitter chats #CBUK.  A fellow crafter herself Naomi's passion is paper cutting, please do pop on over to her blog to find out more about her and her wonderful craft.

So I finally got round to putting together my Limited Edition Alice in Wonderland Themed Charm Bracelets.  It took a while deciding on the right combination of pictures for the image transfer on polymer clay but they are finally here.

This is my full Alice in Wonderland charm bracelet, featuring five character tiles with the original images from the Lewis Carroll book, antique silver charms and a combination of white and blue glass lamp beads to represent to colours of Alice's famous dress.

I have also created a combination of simpler themed bracelets, such as Alice, the Mad Hatters tea party, the White Rabbit and the Queen of Hearts.

Now this is where I need some second opinions, as you may have read in an earlier post Trying To Improve my Product Photos, I have been working on getting my product photos just right.  Alas despite my best efforts and with the tiles being predominately white based, it has been quite a challenge to achieve a perfect white background with my charm bracelets.

I have however tried some adjustments to the photos with Fotofuze.com, here are some examples

Weekend Catch Up

It's been a busy one this weekend, we are currently fostering a new little kitty for the MIL.

Pumpkin our new fostered addition

Introducing Pumpkin, his a cute little fella, if not a bit nutty and has made himself right at home in our mad house.  We will be looking after him to help him socialise with our dogs and until he grows a little bigger then he will be back off to his permanent home.

 We already have a cat, my daugthers Misty, she is nearly 2 yrs old now and is a bengal/siamese mix, she did'nt take to the new kitty at all well and has spent most of the weekend skulking off to sulk, but shes finally coming round to the idea of havng a ball of fluff to  push around :)

These Union Jack Themed Charm Bracelets have been created with little Union Jack flags made with polymer clay and image transfers, they have been teamed with antique silver crowns.

This charm bracelet has a slightly different twist with an antique gold vintage style and featuring Kings & Queens of old such as King Henry VIII and Queen Elizabeth I.  Again they have been created with polymer clay and image transfer and teamed with antique gold vintage charms.

London Landmark Themed Charm Bracelet

This charm bracelet is based on London Landmarks and would also be a great souvenir for the London Olympics 2012, featuring two famous landmarks Big Ben and The London Eye again created with polymer clay and image transfer.
